Who’s Who

Polo Manager: Rob Cudmore
Rob has over 30 years polo experience and oversees all aspects of Longdole. He is an HPA instructor and credited with building the careers of many top international players. He sits on the HPA Committee and manages a successful embryo transfer breeding programme. One of his many skills is matching players with the right pony.
Club Secretary: Jo Scully-Beim
Jo became Club Secretary in 2005 and manages the day-to-day administration. She has an in depth understanding of the game itself as well as the needs of players and ponies.
Chief Instructor: Dan Banks
Dan has instructed at Longdole since 1998. A well-known instructor and HPA accredited, he specialises in developing young players. He teaches respect for ponies and makes sure the early stages of polo are both exciting as well as safe.
Resident Professional: David Miller
Dave is a four-goal player from Wanstead Polo Club in New Zealand. He is an HPA instructor and plays professionally in the UK. His role at Longdole also includes yard manager.
Horse Manager: Karl Faulkner
Karl joined the team in 2009. With his extensive knowledge of competition horses, Karl is responsible for managing the injuries and accidents that occur within the polo yard and cares for the horses during their winter rest period.
